Policies
Conflict of Interest Policy
Disclosure and management of competing financial, personal, institutional, or intellectual interests.
Disclosure
Authors, reviewers, editors, and staff must disclose financial, personal, institutional, or intellectual interests that could influence—or reasonably appear to influence—their judgment.
Management
Conflicts are reviewed confidentially. A conflicted editor or board member is excluded from the affected decision, and the manuscript may be reassigned or referred for independent advice. Relevant author disclosures may be published with the article.
